Don't you hate when you are walking along, minding your own business, when you realise...it's that
time...again. Your hormones are going crazy, you're aching around the lower abdominal and back area and a nice colony of spots have sent up camp on your face. Wonderful!
On days like these what better thing to do than pamper yourself? As soon as I got home I firstly applied my Biona Organic Coconut Oil (200g) to my face. I leave it on for ten minutes, massage and then rinse off with a warm, wet flannel. I then applied my Clinique 'Take The Day Off' cleansing balm and do the same as before. Then I applied the Good Things 'FIve Minute' Face Mask this is a lovely, brief face mask that smells nice a fruit and leaves the skin nice and soft. After that I exfoliated with the Sanctuary Radiance Exfoliator, this has a really nice fresh 'limey' smell and is nice and gentle. Next I use the Aveda Botanical Kinetics Exfoliant (toner), I put this on a cotton pad and sweep it all over my face, it smells amazing and leaves my skin feeling soft and refreshed. Lastly, I apply this Hydrogen Peroxide Solution (3%) on the end of a cotton bud on to spots that are under the surface and reluctant to come out. I simply use this to draw out the sebum and grease in my pore and it works really well for it. You will feel a slight tingling when using this but this is normal. It can also be used for mouthwash and to dab on a wound to prevent infection. Naturally I follow this with some Sudocrem Antiseptic Healing Cream, I have been using this for years when I get spots. This might seem very long winded but to be honest, I felt awful and fancied a pamper sesh.
Before I went to be I rubbed some of this Boots Ibuprofen Gel into my back, to help me sleep better. I also find that doing some Yoga/light ex recipe helps the cramps and I really like using this app called 'GuruYoga'.
