Meditation might not being for everybody, but finding a mantra is a great way to start.
'Om mani padme hum' is a traditional one, however finding your own is a good way to focus your mind and not give in to the worries or allow the stress of everyday life trickle into your mind.
When I watched CBB this year, Patsy Kensit did a meditation class and had a mantra that I thought would be useful to people. 'I am calm, I am safe and my intention is good'. Simple sayings like that are good to repeat to yourself in troubling situations. They can help you focus on positivity and more effective ways of tackling problems that may come your way.
